Lena It's Your Birthday.

Constant tardiness; double negatives; hip hop (with the most proper [properest?] english accent you can muster); why can't I see your room? It can't be that messy, oh, yeah ok that's pretty gross; awesome; the rainbow song(I am now working with now fewer than three ex salesforce employees at virgin); rockstars; almost turning you into a pothead, only to see that Melbourne succeeded in that; I'm still not convinced on Harry Potter, despite your passion; remember my heroics at the snow? I couldn't have done it without my trusty sidekick (and someone to impress); scarring me for life on my 22nd birthday; sneaking in (then sneaking out, then ringing your doorbell - so clandestine); arguments and strong opinions; They're a band; (with sunglasses tipped over the nose) they're a hot couple; trying to console an inconsolable you on another failure at getting your p plates; blin; bling (I think i still owe you from that bet); wine connosoirs; you're such a groupie; assuring me at the basement after a strange run in with a phsyco ex that no, I am not a horrible person; numerous tearful conversations in the car; heated arguments in public whilst trying to get your passport; shit, the list goes on - some of it mentionable here and some of it not (remember Mackenzie's dad peeping through my window?).

On my 23rd birthday some sweet dear took me down to the snow for a few days. Wow, I can't begin to think of anything to equal that, especially seeing as you're thousands of kilometers away. Even though we all have something special and unique with you, Lena, all the people pictured on this blog (and some who aren't) have been wooed by your charm, flabbergasted at your sillyness, humbled by your honesty (and I mean that in the nicest possible way...even though sometimes you're a little too honest :), and inspired by the fact that wherever life exists, you run at it full steam ahead.
